The hand sewn leather collars are individually cut from the best sourced tanneries in Italy. Each collar having it’s own feel and weight due to uniqueness of the hide. Once the leather is individually sourced for each shirt, the master atelier places each collar in a tedious process. Each Hide is selected to age cohesively with the vintage shirt for the next 20 plus years.

Akira, the franchise that set off an explosion in the fictional dystopian city of Neo-Tokyo and in the real world of manga and anime throughout the 1980s. In 1982, Akira first marked its debut as a serialized manga from the mind of Katsuhiro Otomo, who illustrated and wrote the series. Within a few years of the manga's run, Otomo adapted the manga into a film. The movie, which hit theaters in 1988, remains to be the most iconic and innovative anime film ever created.
